Yksirivinen kaivinkone IK 1D, jossa on sivuheitto, on suunniteltu perunoiden, sipulien ja muiden viljelykasvien ylösnostamiseen enintään 12 % kaltevilla mailla. Se sopii erityisesti pienemmille tiloille, jotka haluavat lisätä tuottavuutta.
Se on tehokkain perunoiden ylönostamiseen, sillä sen avulla mukulat on helppo erottaa maasta. Kaksi kiekkoa leikkaa ensin pois mukulan ylimääräisen vihreän yläosan, kun taas auran päät leikkaavat perunaharjanteen alta.

Moving Sieves
The soil is sieved on two counter-moving sieves and the cleaned potatoes are placed in a narrow row at the side of the machine. This method of disposal does not damage the tubers.
Increased Working Efficiency
When digging potatoes, the discs cut off the excess green top of the tuber, making it easier for the plough heads to get into the soil. This increases the efficiency of digging and reduces the risk of crop damage.
